study tips: back to the studying years

assalamualaikum


i mcm tiber eh nak tulis pasal tips study padahal dah tinggal and i don't think my current circle ada yang still belajar pun har har. i think it's because i tengah kemas kemas rumah lepas tu i terjumpa old files yang i simpan nota2 belajar so rasa mcm nak share. so silakanlah baca walaupun tak applicable~~



#1 organize your notes together


i suka pakai 2-hole binder untuk simpan all my handwritten notes or lecturer's slides. 1 binder for 1 semester, campur2 semua subject. so dalam 1 sem tu i just have to worry about my laptop yang memang dah seberat kucing gemuk and 1 binder file. kalau i nak study i boleh take out separate notes and clip together ikut topic yg masuk for specific exams. nak pakai buku pun boleh, tapi i tak suka sebab tak ada flexibility to divide and take out the pages.

#2 rajinkan buat nota


i know this sounds so nerdy tapi kenapa specifically ambil nota instead of record ke apa ke is sebab i believe bila kita menulis, kita lagi cepat ingat. ceh, sendiri believe sebab tu menjadi kan haha. but i suggest u guys try it la, write down the notes. 






my structure is, sebelum start chapter/module baru, i akan buat 1 page depan untuk definitions. belakang2 tu baru nota. pastu i guna banyak colored pens untuk bezakan nota yg catat live and annotations bila buat revision later. 



different colors untuk menarik perhatian diri sendiri




ada sesetengah org suka pakai cornell method. pun boleh cuba. i cuba, doesn't work for me lols. i rasa sbb method ni mcm restrict my space untuk scribble dan annotate.





#3 record lectures


pusing ga? sekejap sekejap ckp suruh tulis nota, sekejap sekejap suruh record haha. well, sebenarnya record ni i buat juga bila hari2 yang i kena attend kelas pagi, yg mmg bercakap je punya class and i mengantuk so i record la. mcm acah sgt kalau tak mengaku pernah tidur dalam class. jujur je jadi student ni kan, mmg kadang2 tidur sbb mengantuk, bosan dsb.


record la video ke voice ke mana mana la untuk relive the lecture. better to record and sleep daripada sleep and sia sia je penat2 pi class ahaks.



#4 jangan ponteng


dkt msu, attendance main peranan as carry marks so kalau benda simple mcm just being present tu tak boleh nak buat, mmg rugi markah jelah. benda paling simple just be there and korek hidung. kalau tak focus, akak dah ajar dah tadi, sila record suara lecturer anda gituh. easy peasy nak jaga carry marks dkt attendance ni.



#5 life-study balance


usually for scholars or ptptn students mmg nak jaga pointer sbb taknak hilang pembiayaan kan so i see these people mmg study mcm ulat buku. tapi you'd want to balance studying and having fun.


my weekends usually hari sabtu je i free up untuk keluar dgn kawan2 ke mana mana sahaja and at any times. hari ahad i restrict myself from going out sbb i nak siapkan assignment. so balance la, ada hari keluar and kerja pun siap kan. 


during schooldays i mmg ada je stay up dkt library kalau masa tu time2 critical nak submit project ke apa kan. tapi there are some days yg i pergi dating, tengok wayang or karaoke after the last class. so find that balance. jangan study je manjang. nanti tak rasa nikmat hidup remaja sebelum kerja and ada komitmen kiri kanan hahahaha.



#6 buat schedule


ni pun mcm nerds kan. tapi tips ni serious penting. buat jadual tak usahlah to the dot. cukup mcm emm, mcm bawah ni




sediakan overview untuk semester tu kan, class time apa, bila nak study/buat assignment and hari apa hari jimba. ini overview je untuk setiap semester tu. kenapa ada overview ni adalah untuk bagi kita disiplin sikit. bila kita ada routine, barulah rasa lebih teratur dan tak mudah pening2 bila orang tanya kita busy ke tak sbb kita tahu hari sekian sekian kita ada activity apa.




ni extra tapi i buat. setiap minggu i will plan my week more specifically. isnin minggu ni task apa nak buat, hari ahad nak keluar dgn siapa. barulah tak confuse eh yg karaoke ni bila yang wayang ni bila and homework apa yg mmg nak kena submit next week? ah jangan kecoh. buat je simple2 mcm ni ikut hari. ni pendek2 sbb contoh, selalunya to-do list per hari tu panjang2 lagi hahaha.



#7 budgeting

bawak bawak la belajar menjaga finance sendiri semasa zaman belajar lagi. jangan gunakan alasan student untuk guna duit sesuka hati. belajar menyimpan supaya tak culture shock eh tiber dah kerja ada commitment pula. tak semua org lucky lepas belajar masih boleh duduk rumah parents, ada yg kerja jauh so kena sewa rumah, beli kereta or tiber nak kahwin kan. so dalam berjimba jimba dgn kawan kawan, jgn cepat terpengaruh dengan kawan2 yg lebih berduit dari kita. ingat ye, zaman uni adalah bridge from being a teenager to a young adult and being anything "adult" is challenging and comes with responsibilities so sila la belajar sikit2 nak transition tu. dont play play all the time, don't be serious all the time gituh pesan kakakmu.


#8 tips mahal dari kakak mung - pomodoro technique


ni extra jelah ek untuk sesiapa yg mencari groove mcm mana nak stay productive atau elak dari distracted masa tgh study/kerja. sila apply pomodoro technique. apakah ia? ye gigit buat tomato sambil berkerja.


heh gurau. pomodoro technique ni simple je, just study/work for 25 minutes, then take 5 mins break <- this is one 30-minute cycle. ulang cycle ni dalam 2-4 kali. lepas tu ambil 1 hour break. kalau jenis pandai control tidur, buat 30 mins disco nap and 30 mins to eat and rest. kalau tak pandai, elak la nap tu entah2 memang last2 ko nap je sepanjang hari lols. lps tu repeat the pomodoro cycle for another 4 cycles. 5 mins break boleh pi snacking, stretching, zumba ringan or tgk 1 vlog kat youtube with 1.75x speed. kalau tgk netflix confirm gagal la technique ini. 


so after 4 cycles - 1 hr break - 4 cycles, boleh rehat dah. kalau kerja tak siap, boleh je ulang the routine sampai kerja hang siap. bila ada small and big breaks, otak kita akan lambat lemau and badan also akan feel rested. so lagi la lambat nak rasa mengantuk je! ini tak, hang tak pakai apa2 teknik tu pasai hang baca 3 ayat pastu hang pi sambung tidoq balik. sia2 bangun 4 pagi konon nak study hahaha.

so last last, dalam banyak2 tips pun pesanan yg paling berharga ialah untuk sentiasa menjaga mental kita. study study juga, tapi kena have fun, main main sikit. jangan mainkan hati orang sudah sbb silap silap hatimu dipermainkan jua nanti kahkah. i know there's a lot of pressure masa study tapi it's not a competition. dkt uni dah tak ada ranking ranking siapa no 1 dalam batch ke hape yang ada cumalah pointer sendirian berhad. i know we all kejar dean's list, president's list, nak jadi valedictorian and all tapi zaman belajar ni akan terasa berlalu kejap je kalau tak create memories dgn kawan2 so do take some time off for yourself and your mental health.


setiap fasa kehidupan termasuklah belajar ada ups and downs. kita masuk belajar dgn azam by the end of our diplomas/degrees kita nak dapat award during convocation, nak jadi a part of student body, nak jadi teacher's pet to build connections and so on so forth. tapi set the correct expectations yg there are times when we get too tired to study and we missed an A this semester so our pointer is 3.70. or we have to quit being an student's rep council because it jeopardizes our grades. or kita nak sangat suka lecturer ni and kiss her tass tapi lecturer ni tak suka kita balik. or we could easily get sick to the point yg we have to defer the semester. these are all setbacks, tapi tak sepatutnya patahkan semangat kita. apa apapun, perjuangan mesti diteruskan sampai habis. regardless of the results (or people who talks about OUR freaking results), only we know if we have done our best and in the end, kita cuma perlukan diri kita sendiri je untuk bangga dgn diri kita sendiri. we don't need anyone else's claps to our success or boos to our downfalls.

bila nak dapat kunci? - part 2

so last entry i dah share mcm tips la kot from yours truly tentang cara nak survey/beli rumah. tips tu semua datang dari compilation baca blog blog orang lain dan experience sendiri. so untuk entry kali ni i nak share pasal my experience dari segi timeline sbb dulu i thought beli rumah ni especially yg dah siap, bukan subcon mahupun undercon, tak lama hahaha. oh well my noob and ignorance tass ahaha. so untuk set expectations semua orang yang mungkin tak tahu mcm i, i sharekan my experience in this entry.


we started surveying for houses in august of 2021, masa tu sebab we were talking about starting a family and rumah sewa kami was just a studio-duplex means there's no room for kids. then we also talked about mcm mana kalau owner rumah nak balik rumah sewa tu means kita kena berpindah randah-- is this easy to do bila dah ada kids? so fikir punya fikir kitorang decide untuk survey to buy, not to rent. 


mcm tips yang i share last time, we didn't really set a budget sbb kitorang tak tahu nak kira installment mcm mana pun sbb tak ada pengalaman kan. cuma ada la kasar2 sebut untuk cari rumah yg bulan bulan maximum harga sekian sekian mcm tu. i also read that it was home ownership campaign during the period so baca punya baca dan study, we decided untuk cari rumah yg ada home ownership campaign.


the criteria that we're looking for for our first home are 3-4 bedrooms, rumah dah siap bukan undercon, rumah yg baru siap in the last 5 years and not older and paling penting, location dia masih dlm area berdekatan kota damansara ni. we did our survey on propertyguru sebab perviously we also found our rumah sewa through there and the experience was good.



august 2021


bila kami dah jumpa rumah yang kami paling berkenan, kami terus contact the realtor (from Kim Realty) and set a viewing date. masa tu ada 4 units yg available, some have 3 beds, some has 4. kitorang view both layouts and decided to go with the 4 bedrooms sbb bila kami compare price, we feel like the difference is not big and we also consider the fact that we might not be moving despite expanding the family in a few years. 


after viewing, termasuk viewing common areas and facilities, kami sit down and tanya tentang banks yg ada high chance untuk approve loan kami, what are the "hidden fees" yg tak diikilankan. actually, calling it a "hidden fee" tak tepat sbb it's not hidden, kita just nak tahu cost2 lain selain harga rumah contohnya lawyer's fee ke, stamp duty ke, booking fee ke mcm tu. so we jot down all the numbers dan balik rumah untuk bincang if kami ada ke these amounts untuk keluar pada time sekian sekian. 



this is the one. contohnya untuk book unit kita bayar booking fee dulu. then duit kena keluar kat mana lagi and when. semua ni adalah duit keluar selain installment/downpayment




rumah yang kami beli tak ada downpayment, cuma ada booking fee yg refundable selepas dah move in. so lepas kami dah discuss2, we decided to book the unit in september. the realtor suggests us untuk apply loan with Public Bank and Affin Bank based on our financial situation (considering our other commitments, monthly income and assets).



september 2021


after 2 weeks of booking, both bankers contacted us (end of september) untuk submit apa2 document yg diperlukan dan apply loan secara rasmi. so kami apply la dengan dua dua, sambil berdoa ada yang akan datang balik dengan berita gembira. ada baca baca pengalaman orang kata tunggu loan approve ni lama, rasa mcm tunggu gantung tak bertali la apa la kan. ghisau mak haha. 



october 2021


sebenarnya memang perasaan risau tu berpanjangan sepanjang menunggu keputusan loan tu. akhirnya pada hujung october, means ambil masa lebih kurang sebulan selepas apply tu Affin Bank datang balik kepada kitorang, dengan interest rate yg alhamdulillah la seronok tengok haha. maka lepas itu keluar la offer letter. seronok la masa ni sbb kiranya dengan bank dah lepas, skrg tinggal process dengan lawyer and pejabat tanah la pula kan.







setelah kami dah arrange untuk sign offer letter, loan application dengan Public Bank pun automatic stop so tak worry worry dah. kira skrg kita berurusan dengan Affin jer.


lepas sign offer letter, lawyer pun contact kami untuk arrange sign SPA which is hujung october. lawyer cakap next step ialah untuk dapatkan blanket consent daripada developer dan dihantar ke land office untuk pengesahan.








digantung tak bertali


bagi i, timeline masa yang digantung tak bertali adalah bukan masa tunggu loan approve, ia masa tunggu proses documentation antara lawyer-developer-land office. memang masa ni duk merisau manjang hahaha sebab katanya realtor habaq bulan 3-4 boleh dapat kunci. tapi senyap menikus je proses yang part ni.



december 2021


bulan 12 tu kami receive valuation report daripada valuer, LaurelCap yg buat valuation utk unit kami. untuk baca lebih psl valuation of property ni boleh click sini. so valuation fee ni kita bayar directly pada valuer kita, dan minta invoice tu. untuk kami punya property purchase, valuation fee ni kira mcm discount/rebate drpd developer so fee ni refundable. untuk property lain sila tanya agent masing2 okay. tanya psl ni sbb mana tahu property korang ada offer utk refund certain costs kan, terus jimat wang kat situ. so lps kitorang bayar, kitorang buat refund application pada developer. cleared in 2 months. 


just a note yang valuation fee ni tak ada makna sgt pun haha. bermakna la untuk tahu nilai sebenar rumah tapi tak adalah process tu makin cepatkan dapat kunci ke, hal dgn pejabat tanah ke apa ke lol.




march 2022


sepatutnya masa ni dah expecting nak cuci rumah kan? hahaha padahal ini baru sampai fasa yang blanket consent tu dah siap dan dihantar untuk diproses kat pejabat tanah. lepas tu ingatkan ini je document yang kena tunggu lama nau nak finalize, rupanya ada lagi pending MOT, original title and consent to charge-- pun expecting daripada developer juga. masa ni dah tahu dah proses mmg lama, dari october, march baru ada progress so pengharapan tu dah kurang.




may 2022


akhirnya pada hujung may kami receive letter of disbursement and notis untuk start bayar installment dari Affin Bank. masa ni rasa mcm dah dekat dah. takkan kita bayar dulu tapi kunci tak dapat kan. so i approach lawyer, and dia dah confirmkan 3 documents pending kat atas tu pun dah cleared so skrg boleh minta VP (vacant possession) dah daripada developer. sebenarnya sebagai pembeli rumah, bila dgr je perkataan VP ni dah tahu dah one step closer la ni hahaha.



june 2022


so kami follow up dgn developer, kepilkan sekali bank letter dan request untuk dapatkan VP. kat sini developer akan keluarkan 2 invoices untuk clearkan maintenance fee. kita terus settlekan semua fees ni dan on friday that same week, dapatlah surat VP alhamdulillah. happy gila! bila dpt surat vp and tarikh untuk ambil kunci ni mmg perasaan dia lain macemmm. mmg happy sgt tak ingat dunia. dapat la view rumah and finally simpan kunci rumah ni sendiri. kunci dah kat tangan kita!!! syok wey!!









ha so kira kira berapa lama tu nak dapat rumah dari survey sampai pegang kunci? haha kalau ikutkan cerita i ni, mmg kitorang punya side tak buat apa sangat pun. semua urusan lawyer je kebanyakannya. apa yang bahagian kita buat cuma risau dan berdoa kekeke. penantian itu satu penyiksaan tapi dia jadi ok lepas impian tu jadi kenyataan cewah!!



insyaallah next entry, kalau rajin nak share pasal bila dah dapat kunci, what we learned about utilities, dealing with management and furnishing our first home!

we bought a house! - part 1

alhamdulillah syukur kehadrat ilahi dapat juga kami berdua merasa beli rumah sendiri. ceh cakap mcm bangga padahal bertambah komitmen lols. tapi ini adalah impian kami so mmg bila tercapai, auto rasa happy gituhh.



dalam proses nak beli rumah ni, of course kena buat banyak research. selain baca websites hartanah mcm propertyguru or iproperty ke apa, mesti nak tahu juga pengalaman dari pov buyer, barulah lebih faham sebab buyers ni cerita dia tak pakai jargon2 hartanah and info dia tak systematic sangat. utk orang2 yang tak berapa terdedah kepada ilmu hartanah ni mudah nak paham. so korek2 banyak la blog orang guna keyword "pengalaman beli rumah", "berapa lama dapat vp rumah" dsb. then i thought lagi senang kalau i boleh compilekan semua tips2 yang i dapat ni dalam satu post so that kalau ada sesiapa yg came across senang nak refer. konon membantu la readers yang berapa ketul ni tiberr.


so without further ado, here's adina's guide to beli rumah 101.


mencari rumah idaman

tanpa perlu kira budget lagi, mulakan survey properties di website yg orang ramai percaya. i pakai propertyguru sebab before this cari rumah sewa pun pakai tu and so far trusted. pastikan bila tengok listing tu, tengok realtor name and company. buat google search sikit kut2 kalau company realtor tu ada sejarah scam or whatnot okay.






just browse, pilih area mana yang nak, berapa bilik and baths. then look at the average price of a few houses yg belong in the category. bila dah list down beberapa, and dah tahu average price--- catat, make notes and get ready to save some money. so step ni elok la buat beberapa bulan ke setahun sebelum ye. boleh pakai loan calculator untuk bajet2 berapa monthly installment. kenapa jangan letak bajet dulu ialah untuk mengelakkan terkejut beruk tak jumpa lansung rumah within budget.









tips survey rumah idaman

tahu lokasi mana yang korang nak, then use google maps to see the route between your most go-to places. kalau i, i akan search route between my current house and the dream house (ini membantu untuk bajet awal2 duit movers), route between our offices and the dream house and also we did search for the route from one utama to the dream house sbb kitorang nak target our main venue for entertainment is dkt ou. 


also rajin rajin la google nama property tu and baca review dia. tgk photos yang orang ambil, not just the ad photos. cari la information from informal resources also like lowyat or forum cari. basically, read lots and lots of reviews.



start contacting realtors

once dah jumpa rumah yang berkenan, boleh la slow slow contact the realtor and set a house viewing appointment. i actually encourage you to observe the realtor's behaviour so that you can decide if you can deal with this person throughout the process. your realtor should be there from the viewing up until dpt kunci. if he/she don't have the answer, they should at least be able to route you to the next person to contact. kitorang punya realtor from Kim Realty, alhamdulillah sangat bagus and mmg tolong kami end-to-end dlm process ni. kalau kita tak faham mmg dia terus call and selalu follow up dgn kitorang.



house viewing

masa viewing, ringankan mulut untuk terus tanya which bank will most probably approve my loan, what are the average monthly installment, what are some discounts/cashback options available, how much is the downpayment, what are other costs that you need to prepare and maybe more. take notes dkt these numbers.



for me, the first thing i ask is the possible amount of monthly installment. then the realtor sendiri yg start explaining to me about interest rates and banks. then dia tanya us about our work, how many years, how much we get paid. don't have to be shy about this sbb dia akan recommend banks that would approve your loan. for us, we only have 1 year working experience, but our ptptn got waived so we don't have any other commitment other than a car and we have asb also. so the realtor suggests us to apply for a loan with affin bank. another reason being affin would be most likely to approve loans from fresh graduates.


then we also found out about POT cost, moving cost, valuation fee, sinking fee, quit rent and all that stuffs. yang mana kena waived and what should be paid when. penting untuk tahu sebab nanti korang buat2 terkejut pula eh sejak bila ada hidden fees itu ini pastu mengamuk sebab kunci kena tahan sbb payment tak settle so tanya lah awal2 okiee.

also, banyakkan makan sebelum viewing sbb nak ajak realtor pergi tengok semua facilities and amenities yg property tu offer. kut2 la rupanya pool berkarat la apa la. jgn lupa tengok visitor's parking juga tau!







getting the best value 

bila mencari rumah, try to watch out for government campaigns or developer rebate packages. ini tak ada siapa boleh notify korang, kena pandai2 cari sendiri ikut twitter ke, website developer ke etc. mcm kitorang, we tahan diri nak beli rumah until we are sure that the government's home ownership campaign is still running. also our developer ada 10% rebate of the house. so we got the best deal for our unit. 






jangan segan nak tanya the realtor about what interesting packages yg datang with your purchase. some properties may not offer discounts but they offer free gifts in the form of furnishings. rumah kami datang dgn kabinet dapur, wardrobes and toilets. masyuk kan? hehe. so tanya tau so that you can compare and contrast of the values of the properties that you are interested in.





understanding the process

buying a house is a little bit more complicated than renting. so before diri sendiri culture shock, bertanyalah pada realtor juga about your timeline, and what processes are involved. in our case, our realtor foresee that we might be able to get our keys earliest in april. then it got delayed to july due to many factors which we were already explained forward. for us, it was delayed on the developer side to produce some documents, then some delay from the land office. also ask if the realtor can share their experience handling other buyers or if they have their own stories to share. 


my process was straightforward, tapi lambat. we booked just 2 days after viewing then applied for housing loans from affin bank and pbb. affin came back to us first after a month mcm tu then we straightaway got called to sign our snp at the lawyer's office. with hoc, our lawyer fees got waived -- thus i emphasis on the importance of buying when you know there are some packages to help you save money. after signing our snp in november 2021, lama gila dalam march 2022 baru ada progress from our developer side about our blanket consent. after that lama lagi dalam june of 2022 barulah lawyer finalize all documents, dan bank pun hantar surat yg loan dah disburse. lepas tu sampai end of june jugalah baru settle hal nak dapatkan kunci dari developer and management.



okay sekian dulu sedikit tips untuk part one of this series. nanti kalau rajin buat part 2, cerita psl proses and timeline sikit and kalau panjang juga pecah lagi satu la part 3 untuk to-dos after dapat kunci.

goals yang belum dicapaTi

assalamualaikum



saja je kali ni rasa nak tulis pasal life updates and beberapa goals yang dikejar kejar tapi belum dicapai. ini more to mmg life items yang sedang diusahakan, ongoing-- tapi belum sampai ke garisan penamat. kiranya sempena dah habis the first half of the year ni, nak check la resolutions tahun baru dah progress sejauh mana kan cehh. sanity check sikit.



1. nak sambung belajar postgraduate

i suka betul tengok ada a few of my friends yang tgh sambung masters/phd sekarang. very inspirational. sebenarnya kalau tengok diary lama lama zaman remaja, i plan nak sambung masters after degree and get married at 28. by then tu expecting dah ada postgrad cert and dah kerja juga. tapi allah lebih mengetahui, betul la lecturers cakap, once dah kerja tu susah nak get in the mood untuk belajar balik. i ada je buat researches and bookmark some admissions info untuk sambung masters tapi itulah, hati tak kesitu lagi. masih beristikharah dan berplotting pros and cons nak sambung belajar ni.


thing is, psl sambung belajar ni mmg i banyak fikir and observe around. in my development team, tak ramai pun yang ada postgrad cert tapi semuanya sangat mahir dgn skills masing2. environment plays a big role la. i feel like in my line of work, i need skills cert more than academic certs so i always enroll in short courses online. i pula nak kerja technical field, to stay as a developer and i feel like i learn more programming skills by doing hands on work. nak kejar gaji and pangkat gituh ahaha. i think that bias in judgement tends to gravitate me more towards focusing on work sbb mmg hands on coding, getting my hands dirty by developing digital products to release in the real world. tapi impian tetap impian, one day bila masa dah sesuai, family is settling down and i can use company's scholarship untuk biaya my postgrad studies, i'll jump suit. mmg plan nak sambung postgrad ni under scholarship pun. mmg tak mau bayar sendiri kekeke.







2. nak pergi concert mayday parade

so i am a big fan of mayday parade. in 2019, there was this concert that was happening in taylor's lakeside campus for only rm99. it happened in april of 2019, and it was not a semester break or anything and i was in china. see how the luck was not on my side? what are the chances that me, a malaysian yang tak pernah keluar negara, was out of the country exactly when the concert of my favorite band hosted in malaysia, kuala lumpur, so easily reachable. what are the odds!!! dah la harga mampu milik. aduh tak ada rezeki betul

3. nak pergi real honeymoon

dari awal kahwin kami berdua plan nak pergi honeymoon ke somewhere romantic, overseas la konon. we already budgeted for it tapi sebab kahwin waktu pkp, dan pkp lagi dan lagi dan lagi maka tak pergi pergi la honeymoon nya. pergi staycation ke kl pergi bird park je to officiate the honeymoon thing haha. ada satu kali tu we are already almost planning to go, but then we read about the quarantine rules, the covid tests, too much money involved so we cancelled our niat again. fuhh tak apalah asalkan dimanja suami dirumah hari hari terasa macam honeymoon tibahh!







4. nak master backend development

so di awal kemunculan i dalam bidang pengkodingan ini, i nak jadi front end developer je. maksudnya i nak code design je. design tak mau juga, memang nak code ui je. tapi setelah mengumpul pengalaman berkerja, membanting tulang dan meruap peluh di muka coding hari hari, i rasa backend is not all that bad, not all that hard and very interesting. malah, dgn pekerjaan ini la i diberi peluang untuk create api, services, controllers dan guna guna database sikit. selama ni main dengan SQL je, ni first time pakai mongodb aggregation dan rasa tertarik. so i'm planning to slowly take some online courses related to backend juga dan betul2 boleh jadi full stack nih haha.

i also would like to understand more about servers la basically. skrg tgh belajar frontend state management. pun menarik. 5 more years to be an all rounder then sell myself for 5 digits salary ahaks! hustle~~~



5. purge my closet

i really wanna lose some of my clothes sbb dah banyak sampai kena letak dalam beg ikea sebab laci tak muat haha. and also i dah outgrown some of them, and i have grow out of interest in the style of the clothes. while purging, i also nak tengok which pants need hemming. i also nak buy some new ones juga so ini adalah perkara yang perlu dibuat secepatnya!







6. revamp my online portfolio

earlier this year or end of last year i deployed my online portfolio on github pages tapi i dah lama tak update. i am thinking of redesigning and maybe linking to some professional blog posts. am also thinking of adding more personal projects in the portfolio section with a link to use case. i also want to make my portfolio more convincing for potential employers mcm they look at my linkedin, then i link them to my site then they see my skills in action mcm tu!

7. upgrade my phone

currently i'm using the iPhone 8 plus. honestly nothing is wrong with it yet, not lagged, no unsupported apps. basically still in excellent condition. cumanya i don't love the body of my phone. i suka the thick frame of iphone 12 and above so i'm looking to upgrade for the design. i really don't mind much about the camera ke apa, i suka the chip of the newer iphones. i spent more time on my macbook tho so even if i would want to upgrade my phone, dia tak pernah jadi my top priority. tengoklah kalau ada rezeki bonus next year ahaks!




8. nak beli island

terkejut tak noks mak nak beli island? hahaha. i didn't mean to buy the pulau, bukannya i ni sekaya gu jun pyo ahaks. i wanna buy a kitchen island, mainly sebab i need bigger counter space untuk masak masak. kalau counter space kecil, mcm tak syiok! i suka bila nak letak mangkuk kecil2 untuk prep bahan and ada space untuk semua tu. i tak risau sbb i rajin cuci pinggan ahaks!

9. yang terakhir sekali ialah nak kurus!

so shamelessly i've been gaining weight this year, mostly because i have to admit i tak jaga makan and i would very much like to blame on work and stress that stems from it HAHA. i think i will start my weight loss journey balik tahun depan kot, tahun ni from now until december mcm dah penuh agenda. tak sempat nak fikir diet. harap harap la diri ini boleh control nafsu makan. tak sanggup nak tengok cermin dah ni!
